Public lectures, conferences and doctoral schools
The University of Tartu constantly offers an opportunity to join public lectures and listen to Asian and Middle Eastern experts, who share their knowledge as speakers at the conferences or giving a full fledged course. Guest lectures and courses are very diverse, ranging from contemporary literature to politics, religions and orientalism to genetics and biotechnology.

The Asia Centre can assist in compiling a unique continuous education programmes and seasonal schools. Whether it is a summer, winter or doctoral school, we can help to develop it thematically and logistically using our experience and networks. We do it together with academic units and research groups, the Lifelong Centre of the University of Tartu and the Summer University Programme.
