Korean Language Drama Festival (21.04)

 

1st Korean Language Drama Festival in Tartu will be held on the 21st of April. The Department of Languages of the Asian Region, University of Tartu is organizing this festival. 

This festival is a showcase to show off your talent and open to everyone! 
Whether you are a theater-lover or someone who wants to improve their Korean language skills, you are welcome to participate as a performer or an audience member.


Admission is free!

Venue: "Party Rooms" in Tartu Üliõpilasmaja at Kalevi street 24

If you want to participate as a performer:

You can use an existing Korean drama script (An abridged edition or one-several scenes from the original Korean script or English translation) or create a new Korean script. Choose a type of script: Own creation in Korean / Korean adaptation / English translation (the performance of the English version of Kdrama). 
Choose a type of performance between live and prerecorded video. You can choose a genre between theaterstyle drama(by mainly acting) and musical(by combining dance, singing and acting); those are the two alternatives. One drama group may be comprised of one(in case of monodrama) to ten actresses/actors and one to seven crews (ex. director, playwright, light, sound, costume, stagehands.
