Scholarship of €4,383 for PhD fieldwork research in Taiwan

University of Tartu Asia Centre is pleased to inform, that in the framework of the “Taiwan Studies Programme” agreement between Ghent University, Groningen University, the University of Tartu, and the Department of International and Cross-Strait Education (DICE), MoE, Taiwan (2025-2028), a scholarship of €4,383 for fieldwork in Taiwan is available. This scholarship is to cover a round-trip flight between Europe and Taiwan, as well as travel and lodging costs.

Candidates should be enrolled in the PhD programme of either Ghent University, Groningen University, or the University of Tartu. The fieldwork for which the scholarship is applied for should start before 30 April 2026. The successful candidate is requested to mention the award of this scholarship in all publications resulting from this fieldwork.
