Our internship placements are welcoming new interns during the whole year. Due to a diverse range of projects and activities, there is a wide variety of tasks suitable for interns. Responsibilities and working hours are agreed upon individually, based on current or upcoming projects as well as the intern’s own interests and goals.

Please consider before applying

  • Before applying, take a moment to reflect on your strengths and the skills you would like to develop.
  • During the internship, you’ll have the opportunity (with supervisor's guidance) to take the lead on specific tasks and gain experience in project management.
  • The internship is best suited for students who are self-directed or eager to grow in that direction.

Previous interns have worked on different tasks like podcast production, conducting early stage research and analysis, and supporting with events. For instance, developing concepts for panel discussions at the Opinion Festival and reaching out to potential speakers. Interns have also helped us with the Asia Centre’s ReConnect China conference. Please note that for the tasks that involve different service providers outside the University of Tartu it is vital to speak Estonian.

If you have any questions regarding the internship, contact either any of the team members or email to: [email protected]
