Asia in education

We are continuously developing additional options to support learning and continuing education related to Asia and the Middle East. Some of the options listed below are available only to members of the University of Tartu, but not all.

SCHOLARSHIPS

• We award four Asia Centre scholarships at the end of each academic year. One for each faculty at the University of Tartu.
• We also share information about scholarships offered by other organisations.

COURSES, ADDITIONAL MATERIALS, CO-SUPERVISION

• We support the development of courses that are related to Asia or the Middle East.
• We are happy to be co-supervisors for final theses that align with our research areas. If you’re interested in this option, please review our team research profiles and discuss the idea with your supervisor in advance.
• We also develop text and audio materials that are designed to support both teaching and self-study and can be used by lecturers, schoolteachers, and students alike.

STUDENT MOBILITY

• We are happy to connect you with our partners if you are interested in studying abroad.

INTERNSHIPS

• It is is possible to apply for an internship at the Asia Centre.
