Courses on Asia in Autumn 2017

The new semester offers some interesting Asia-related lectures.

Korea has taken central stage with two language courses and 'KOREAN CULTURE AND SOCIETY' & 'KOREAN LITERATURE'; all taught by Jung Ran Park.

Peeter Espak will be reading the course 'HISTORY OF RELIGIONS OF THE ANCIENT NEAR EAST', which helps you to understand the main differences between Sumerian and Babylonian Cosmogony/ Anthropogony.

For the first time, Chinese will be taught on the basis of English by Mart Tšernjuk! And Amar Annus will be teaching the grammar, morphology, syntax and vocabulary of near eastern languages.
