Seminars on Buddhist Philosophy

 

On Monday, Septhember 25th, the course "Readings in Buddhist Philosophy" will begin at the Department of Philosophy.

Place: Jakobi 2-337 

This semester, the seminars will be dedicated to the philosophy of the Indian Buddhist thinker Nagarjuna on the basis of the following texts: 

- Nagarjuna (author); Siderits, Mark & Katsura, Shoryu (trans.) 2013. Nagarjuna's Middle Way: The Mulamadhyamakakarika. Wisdom Publications
- Westerhoff, Ian. 2009. Nagarjuna's Madhyamaka: A Philosophical Introduction. Oxford University Press.

The course is held in English. Students can earn 3 ECTS for participation. If you are interested, please register for the course "FLFI.00.109 Readings in Buddhist Philosophy II" in the SIS.
