Apply for the University of Tartu Asia Centre scholarship

The mentoring programme that has been popular in the previous years will be held again this autumn semester.

From 12 June to 21 September, all University of Tartu staff and students and everyone else are welcome to complete the orienteering course “Exploring Tartu along Struve Geodetic Arc”.

On Thursday, 5 June, a new board for the University of Tartu Student Union (UTSU) was elected during a meeting of the student parliament.

From 19 May to 6 June, the university library will once again be open for studying until midnight. In addition to extended opening hours, a range of activities will take place during the Night Library period.

The call for the Erasmus+ intra-European mobility application for the 2025/2026 academic year closed in March, revealing increased interest among students in studying at ENLIGHT universities.

On 11 February, the University of Tartu organises the Estonian Doctoral School’s second Career Conference, The Value of a Doctoral Degree in the Job Market, in the university library.

Starting from 16 August, all staff and students of the university will be able to test the virtual assistant on the University of Tartu IT wiki page, which will provide support in solving IT problems based on existing guides. The trial period will last a couple of months, during which the Information Technology Office will be able to assess the quality of the virtual assistant service.
