Go on an exchange semester to Asia!

Have you been thinking about broadening your horizons with a semester in a different university, but you are not sure where to apply? Why not look further from Europe and head East instead? Here we introduce different exchange competitions for the spring semester 2017/2018.

First, there is the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme. Erasmus + International Credit Mobility is a higher-education sub-programme of Erasmus+ proposed by the European Commission. Students can study as exchange students at partner universities that are not located in EU Member States or other programme countries.

You can apply for the following universities for Spring 2008:

Peoples' Republic of China - Tsinghua University
Israel - Oranim Academic College of Education
Israel - The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
India - Birla Insitute of Technology and Science- Pilani

Application deadline: 5th of October.
General requirements for applying

  • Students applying to partner universities relevant to the applicant's current field of study are preferred in the competition;
  • Master`s level students are preferred in the competition. PhD and at least second year bachelor`s level students can apply if there are enough suitable courses available and partner university accepts it;  
  • You can study 1 semester (minimum 3 and maximum for 5 months) at one partner university.

Second, the University of Tartu has many partneruniversities in Asia. Some of them also await students in Spring 2018. Deadline for these competitions is 10th of October. Read more about the universities requirements on their corresponding subpages:
